Position Overview
Full-Time – Mid-Shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM; additional nights and weekends may be required during peak or high-demand periods.
Compensation: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour (determined based on experience and qualifications).
Job Summary
Maintenance Technician I – entry level position with the ability and willingness to gain expertise that may apply to carpentry, plumbing, painting, or general mechanical skills. Duties include working independently or assisting other maintenance personnel on projects. Responsibilities include floating between tasks scheduled for the day, as determined by the Maintenance Supervisor for current projects and repairs needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily building/maintenance duties specific to skills, floating from project to project.
- General maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Operate mechanical, hand-operated, and power tool equipment with motorized moving parts as required (e.g., hand power drill).
- Operate machinery, including motorized lift trucks, scissor lifts, order pickers, etc.
- Uphold the values and mission of the company.
- Follow all policies and procedures set by the company.
- Perform other duties as requested by the supervisor.

Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience with a variety of maintenance-related tools and equipment.
- Basic math skills to measure and execute tasks.
- Accurate, conscientious, with excellent attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5+ years of general maintenance and/or building and grounds experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- To see, talk, and hear.
- Use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or type.
- Walk, sit, stand, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, or exert up to 50 pounds of force to move something.
- Regular use of power equipment and hand tools.
- Proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, or potential exposure to chemicals/paint fumes.
- Exposure to strong aromas of spice, allergens, and particulates in the air.
