Overview
We are currently looking for Manufacturing Operatives to join one of our clients on a long‑term basis. The company is a world leader in the manufacture, modification and servicing of specialist products for the rail industry.
Location
Based in their purpose‑built premises in Wiltshire.
Responsibilities
- Work from assembly instruction, assembling components
- Test and fault‑find on existing and new equipment
- Replace faulty components
- Repair faulty equipment
- Re‑build equipment
- Perform general mechanical and basic electrical fitting work
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have previous experience of mechanical and/or electrical assembly or be experienced in using basic hand tools. Ideally, candidates will have experience of working on the repair and maintenance of smaller‑scale machinery. It is essential that applicants can read and understand assembly instructions.
Working Hours
This is an ongoing role for the right candidate and will be working on either a day shift or night shift basis Monday to Thursday.
