Position Overview
We are looking for a Maintenance Surveyor to cover East London and surrounding areas. The successful candidate will report to the Neighbourhood Repairs Manager and be responsible for pre/post‑inspections and reporting for responsive repairs, void works and cyclical repairs, consulting and engaging with customers and leaseholders, and with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate repair, maintenance, and construction work to deliver according to cost, time, and quality standards.
- Conduct building and technical surveys to determine building condition and identify defects and associated risks.
- Carry out major void inspections and ensure work meets KPIs.
- Make recommendations based on survey findings.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Surveying, Property and Maintenance Level 3.
- Member of a relevant professional body, e.g., RICS or CIOB.
- Ability to travel across the region as required.
- Subject to Basic Criminal Record Check Clearance.
