Graduate SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Specialist schools across Manchester.Contract Type: Long-term, short-term and flexible roles available.Salary: Competitive – dependent on experience.
About the Role
- Support students with SEMH needs in both group settings and on a 1:1 basis.
- Assist in delivering tailored learning programmes and emotional regulation strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and self‑esteem.
- Help create an inclusive, safe, and nurturing learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure every child is supported.
What We’re Looking For
- A recent UK Psychology graduate (or related field).
- Experience working with children/young people with SEMH needs.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
- Passionate about education and making a difference.
- Able to commit to a role from September 2026.
- Able to provide references covering the last 2 years.
