Relief Minibus Driver – Locks Heath

Overview

Age Concern Hampshire are currently recruiting for Relief Minibus Drivers to join our friendly and dedicated team at our Care & Wellbeing Centre in Locks Heath.

Our drivers main responsibilities are to transport clients to and from the Care and Wellbeing Centre, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the journey.

Responsibilities

• Driving clients from their homes to the Care and Wellbeing Centre in the morning and returning them safely in the afternoon.
• Assisting clients to enter and vacate the minibus, ensuring their safety and physical needs are met.
• Helping ensure the minibus is maintained through daily checks, refuelling, keeping it clean, and reporting maintenance or repair issues to the manager.

Requirements

• Experience of driving a minibus and assisting passengers.
• A caring and compassionate nature.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An understanding of the importance of being reliable, hardworking and honest.
• A D1 on your license is essential.
• A Midas qualification or willingness to undertake Midas training.
