Refuse Loader – Local Council – Shaftesbury

We are recruiting for a temporary refuse loader for the local council in Shaftesbury, Dorset.

Immediate start for the right applicant following an induction.

Positions are temporary ongoing and potentially long term depending on performance and reliability supporting the permanent teams.

Salary

£13.05 per hour (37 hours per week)

Hours

6am – 2pm Monday to Friday (earlier 1.30pm finish on Fridays)

Required Skills

• No experience is required
• Must be physically fit
• Happy to work outside
• Good work ethic

Duties

• Collecting waste from road sides
• Recycling sorting – via boxes and wheelie bins
• Machine lifting support emptying bins
• Cleansing duties

Location

This position is based out of Shaftesbury, Dorset.
