Salary: GBP55000 – GBP60000 per annum + Training + Company Car

Installation Technician (High Voltage)

£55,000 – £60,000 + Training + Progression + Private Medical Insurance + Company Car + Fuel Card

Nationwide Travel (Fully Remote)

Are you a High Voltage Installation Technician with experience in transformers, switchgear and HV cable terminations, looking to join a growing company where you’ll work on major UK infrastructure projects?

Do you want the opportunity to develop your skills further, gain exposure to large-scale 11kV–400kV installations, and progress your career with a supportive, safety-focused team?

In this role you will install and commission HV transformers, AIS/GIS switchgear, substation components, and auxiliary systems. You will carry out HV terminations and connections, support FAT/SAT and energisation, and work alongside engineers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.

This role would suit a HV Installation Technician with at least 5 years’ experience working from 11kV upwards who is looking for long-term development, training, and the chance to work on some of the UK’s most exciting HV projects.

The Role:

  • Install and commission HV transformers, switchgear (AIS/GIS) and substation equipment
  • Carry out HV cable terminations, busbar connections and auxiliary wiring
  • Support FAT, SAT and site energisation
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, standards and client requirements
  • Travel to sites across the UK (company HQ in Norwich)

The Person:

  • Experience in HV installation up to or over 33kv
  • Ability to travel nationwide with expensed accommodation included
