East Suffolk Council – Riverside, 4 Canning Road, Lowestoft, Suffolk NR33 0EQ

Salary: £35,412 – £42,839 per annum (Bands 6/7)

Hours: Full Time, 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Your role

As the successful candidate you will:

• Undertake inspections of maintenance defects, identify suitable remedial actions and the extent of work necessary to rectify or improve the reported defect.
• Identify works necessary to be undertaken from the rolling Capital works programme.
• Carry out void property inspections and commission work to meet current lettable standards. Undertake stock condition surveys.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Building Maintenance environment and a good understanding of building regulations. The candidate will have experience of safe systems and processes for the collection, recording, analysis and reporting of data, focused on ensuring the data is accurate, valid, reliable, timely, relevant and complete.
