Production operative Days

Meridian Business Support is looking for a Production Operative to join our prestigious client based in Swadlincote. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an evolving manufacturing environment.

The Role

The ideal candidate will play a key part in the production process, starting with hand‑made clay fabrication and developing into a multi‑skilled operator role.

Key responsibilities include

• Handcrafting clay products to required specifications
• Producing terracotta and drainage components for construction use
• Maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
• Working safely and efficiently within a production environment

As your skills develop, you will

• Receive training to produce your own components using machinery
• Collaborate with our Continuous Improvement Manager to help refine and enhance production processes

• Practical, hands‑on approach to work
• Good attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Previous manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential
