Are you looking for a rewarding role where every day offers the chance to make a real difference?

Mencap are recruiting for a Support Worker to join our friendly team in Sudbury. You will be supporting individuals who enjoy a wide range of activities, from watching football and playing pool to visiting the cinema or theatre. They love arts and crafts, spending time with family, and taking the occasional seaside trip during the summer, so no two days ever feel the same.

As a Support Worker, you will play an important role in helping people live as independently as possible. Your day may include preparing meals, assisting with cleaning and laundry, and offering support with any personal care needs. You will help create a warm, safe, and encouraging environment where the people we support can thrive.

To apply for this role, you will need to have a full UK driving licence as supporting people to access the community is a key part of the job. Our shift patterns are between 7am and 10pm, and the role includes sleep‑in shifts (with a flat rate of £64.20) and weekend work as part of the rota.

If you are caring, reliable, and ready to bring positivity into someone’s day, we would love to hear from you. Join us at Mencap and start a career where every moment matters.
