Location: Craigavon, Northern Ireland
Shifts Pattern: 20 hrs per week on average over 2 weeks. Exact pattern to be confirmed (e.g., week 1: 2 days; week 2: 3 days). A job‑share partner will fill the remaining days. Pattern includes rotational shifts 06:00‑14:30 and 14:30‑23:00.

The Opportunity
Step into an exciting Warehouse Operator (Material Stores Technician) position at Almac, where you’ll play a vital role in our Material Stores team. You’ll be hands‑on with receiving deliveries and working closely with production staff, chemists, and analysts, all while upholding our world‑class GMP standards. This is a dynamic environment where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will help drive our mission forward. You’ll also be responsible for effective waste management, ensuring every task aligns with Almac’s rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental procedures.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect deliveries.
- Coordinate with production staff, chemists, and analysts.
Qualifications & Requirements
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English Language, grade C or above, or substantial relevant warehousing experience.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse.
- Experience with counterbalance forklift operation preferred.
- Familiarity with computerised inventory control systems.
- Knowledge of chemical manufacturing and cGMP standards is beneficial.
- Eligibility to work in the UK without restrictions, or a valid work permit that allows full‑time employment in the UK.
