We offer specialist residential support to families who need help with parenting young children. The centre includes three self‑contained flats, each accommodating a family.

Our goal is to empower parents in their parenting journey while they undergo formal assessment by children’s services.
Your Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will support mothers, fathers and their children through a 12‑to‑16 week residential assessment programme arranged by the courts. You will help families develop parenting skills and create a safe, nurturing environment in line with court expectations and care plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong, supportive relationships with families
- Promote daily routines, safety, and wellbeing
- Assist with cooking, cleaning and household tasks
- Support colleagues through role‑modeling and teamwork
- Keep accurate records and documentation
- Maintain a safe, nurturing environment at all times
- Work closely with other professionals and agencies
- Uphold safeguarding practices
What You’ll Need
- Experience working with early years, nursery or similar settings (highly desirable)
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, or willingness to complete it within the required timeframe
- Experience working with families in a residential or support setting
- A clear understanding of safeguarding and protecting children and young people
- Strong communication and people skills
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
- Willingness to travel to nearby homes in Hinckley, Coalville, Mountsorrel and Syston; ideally able to drive
Pay & Reward
Pay ranges from £26,142 to £29,463, plus approximately £3,000 per year for night allowance. Pay progression is based on performance and values alignment.
