Position: Senior Care & Support Assistant
Location: Wickmeads Residential Home – Christchurch – BH6 4LG
Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 36 hours per week (includes alternate weekend working)
Join our caring team to make a positive impact on residents’ lives. We seek a compassionate individual who can inspire and support their team, with completed or ongoing NVQ3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Previous care experience with knowledge of care planning and medication administration is essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting and guiding Care Assistants
- Delivering person-centered care tailored to individual needs
- Supporting residents to maintain independence
- Providing companionship and building relationships
- Escalating incidents appropriately
- Fostering a friendly, cooperative atmosphere
