Development Coordinator
Contract: 12 months, fixed term (possibility to extend subject to funding).
Working pattern: Part‑time, flexible across the week.
Responsibilities
Provide advice, training and support to local organisations, helping them build resilience, secure funding, and deliver impact. Focus on grassroots groups and those led by and serving communities often excluded from mainstream support.
Build trusted relationships with organisations, understand their needs, and provide tailored guidance on governance, fundraising and strategy.
Act as a key connector, linking groups to wider opportunities through networks, training and partnerships.
Work closely with the Development Manager and wider team to shape and deliver a responsive organisational development offer, ensuring support is accessible, relevant and inclusive.
Contribute to monitoring impact and sharing insights to improve practice.
Qualifications
Experience in the voluntary and community sector.
Strong communication skills and a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
Collaborative approach, motivated to support local organisations to thrive.
Experience with organisational development or a similar support role is desirable.
