Role Summary
As a Production Operative, you will play an important hands‑on role in the assembly, soldering, and testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs). Working as part of a collaborative production team, you’ll use both manual techniques and automated equipment to help deliver high‑quality electronic products used in critical sectors such as Aerospace, Medical, Defence, and more.
Production Operative Responsibilities
- Assemble PCBs and electronic products in line with work instructions and SOPs
- Perform hand soldering to IPC standards (training can be provided)
- Clean PCBs after soldering, using approved processes and materials
- Operate automated and semi‑automated equipment for production and testing
Production Operative Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high‑quality work
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components
- Comfortable working to targets individually and within a team
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of production
