Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver (Fareham)

Pay Rate: £15.05 – 18.50 per hour

Are you a reliable Class 2 Driver looking for consistent, early-start work? We’re recruiting on behalf of our Fareham-based client for immediate, temporary agency work supporting household and commercial waste collections.

This role involves operating a dust cart on scheduled routes, working as part of a team to deliver an essential public service.

Requirements

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points
• Previous driving experience preferred refuse experience advantageous
• Ability to work as part of a team in a physically active role
• Flexible, dependable, and safety-conscious

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 2 (Category C) refuse vehicle on planned collection routes
• Collect household and commercial waste in a safe and efficient manner
• Work closely with loaders to complete daily rounds
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with regulations
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures at all times
• Provide a professional service to the public and local businesses
