At GXO, we’re expanding and looking for dedicated drivers to join our energetic team at Dartford, Kent, working on our Ikea contract. As a Class 2 Driver you will be delivering furniture for IKEA alongside a Driver’s Mate who will assist in the lifting and shifting of items. Customer service will be at the heart of this role, creating a better everyday life!
This is a full-time, permanent role. You will be working 48 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days on, 3 days off over a 8-week rota with start times between 05:00-05:30.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Working as a 2-person delivery team, delivering furniture products into a room of choice at customers’ homes and providing a first-class customer service experience
- Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly secured
- Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
- Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- This is a physically demanding role which includes lifting and shifting of furniture
- Full UK driving licence with category C entitlement
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
- Previous experience driving category C vehicles is desirable
- DBS security check will be completed on the successful candidate
