Salary: GBP 16.5 – 24.38 per hour. Weekends and bank holidays are paid at £24.38.

The Best Connection Portsmouth is advertising on behalf of our client based in sites in Portsmouth, Fareham and Southampton for HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers.

Duties

• OperateHGVClass 2 Tipper vehicles safely and efficiently
• Deliver and collect aggregate from residential and commercial sites
• Ensure correct placement in line with site requirements
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Complete all relevant paperwork and digital records accurately (e.g. delivery notes, transfer notes)
• Communicate effectively with customers, office staff, and site personnel
• Secure loads correctly andensure loads are transported safely
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable

Hours and Days of Work

• Monday to Friday only
• 06:45 starts, finishing around 5/6pm

Pay Rates

£24.38 weekends and bank holidays only.

You must have

• HGV Class 1 or 2 Licence
• CPC Card
• Previous experience in a tipper vehicle preferred but not essential; training would be provided.
