Firefighter I: Emergency Firefighting & Rescue

The City of Thomasville is looking for a dedicated Firefighter responsible for combating fires, saving lives, and maintaining fire department equipment. This role requires quick decision-making during emergencies and maintaining strong relationships with the public.

The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate all firefighting equipment. Candidates will also be expected to cross-train as Emergency Medical Technicians. The position may involve working in hazardous conditions and requires physical and mental resilience.
