We make health happen.

Here at Bupa we support those when they need it the most. Our care homes are dedicated to delivering person-centred care, supporting independence and honouring choice to help our residents live their best lives.

At Ashley House, an activity coordinator is like the chief fun officer, creating a vibrant, joy-filled atmosphere for residents through arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, pub quizzes and more.

The role involves working closely with residents and care teams to create tailored activity plans that are both enjoyable and therapeutic, such as gentle chair-based exercises or garden parties.

  • Organise birthday surprises for residents.
  • Liaise with external companies and performers from the local community to organise days out/events at the home.
  • Organise one-to-ones with residents, using reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading or a cup of tea and chat.
  • Support the home with social media channels as required.

Key Skills / Qualifications

You are a creative thinker with plenty of ideas; you can manage budgets, maintain paperwork and prioritise as required. You are interested in caring for others, share a sense of humour and have infectious enthusiasm for improving people’s lives.
