Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and experienced 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASD in a 2-form entry mainstream primary school in West Ealing.

The Role
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide dedicated support to a pupil with ASD throughout the school day
- Work closely with the class teacher to implement personalised learning strategies
- Assist with classroom tasks, small group activities, and transitions
- Support social and emotional development, helping the pupil engage with peers
- Follow behaviour plans, visual schedules, and IEP targets
- Contribute to observations, progress tracking, and handovers
Requirements
The school is looking for a candidate who:
- Has previous experience working with children with ASD in a school setting
- Is confident working 1:1 in mainstream classrooms
- Has strong behaviour management skills and patience
- Can work collaboratively with teachers, TAs, and parents
- Is reliable, professional, and adaptable
- Holds relevant qualifications in SEN support or teaching assistance (Level 3 preferred but not essential)
