We are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join the Department of Service Industries which has an expanding Travel and Aviation Curriculum area. The successful applicant will have industry experience and will teach across a range of awarding bodies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support positive behaviour and attendance of the cohort in collaboration with other team members and the Notional Key Officer (NOK).
• Ensure learners’ needs come first and provide opportunities for all learners to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
• Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning and develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials to enable all learners to achieve their full potential, aligning with educational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in crew or aviation.
• Minimum of three years of industry experience in the travel and tourism sector.
• Qualified teacher with experience teaching in further education.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to use tracking systems.
• Experience in the travel and tourism industry.

Work Details

Campus base: Thurrock. 3 days a week (22.5 hours per week), 52 weeks per year.
