Behaviour Support – Alternative Provision in Leeds

We are looking for a resilient, patient, and passionate individual to support young people with challenging behaviour in an Alternative Provision (AP) in Leeds.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with challenging behaviour
  • Assist students with additional needs
  • Promote positive behaviour and mental health
  • Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions
  • Monitor student progress
  • Cater to a range of educational needs

Key Information

  • Daily rate £110–£130 per day, term time only
  • Full-time, Monday–Friday, school hours
  • Excellent SLT and SEN team support

Person Specification

  • Experience working with pupils displaying challenging behaviour
  • Team Teach qualification or willingness to undertake the course
  • Experience in a PRU desirable
  • Personable and role model figure
  • Supportive and inspiring personality
  • Patient and empathetic mindset
