Overview
Summerhill School is a vibrant, successful 11‑16 community school with outstanding facilities and a commitment to student development.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inspirational language provision in French and Spanish to GCSE level.
- Teach French or Spanish to GCSE level; if teaching the other language, have at least KS3 experience.
- Contribute to engaging lessons and enrichment opportunities within the Languages Department.
- Drive up standards, maintain a positive approach and commit to making a difference.
- Support the school’s ethos of care and house system.
Qualifications
- Ability to teach French or Spanish to GCSE level (one language); knowledge of the other language to at least KS3 level is an asset.
- Open to ECTs and more experienced teachers.
- Full‑time, fixed‑term contract starting September 2026 and ending December 2026.
