HGV Delivery Driver – Based from Newent, Gloucestershire

Company Overview

Unity Doors is a specialist in the design, manufacture and supply of timber and composite doorsets.

Position

Delivery Driver (HGV 2) – Head Office, Newent, Gloucestershire.

Reporting To

Logistics Manager.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 45‑hour guaranteed contract. Daily working hours vary; usually up to 50 hours per week, with overtime paid at 1.33× for hours over 45.

Responsibilities

You will deliver doorsets to a variety of customers, with a daily drop count of 5‑10. Vehicle rotation will require you to drive 7.5‑tonne lorries or 3.5‑tonne vans.

Qualifications

• Current driving licence with CPC and tacho card up to HGV 2 (minimum).
• Physically fit and experienced in manual handling of products.
• Used to starting early (3 am onwards).
• Good knowledge of main motorway networks across England.
• Willing to stay overnight on occasion.
• You must have your own transport to travel from the Newent Business Park.
• Professional, committed and passionate about doing the job to the best of your ability.
