Position Title: Education Teaching Assistant (KS1 & KS2)

Start Date: ASAP or September 2026

Employment Type: Permanent, substantive basis

Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only

Salary: £18,196 – £19,395 per annum

Location: Ash Meadow Close, Huddersfield, HD2 1EX (Ashbrow School)

Responsibilities

• Work alongside an enthusiastic and highly skilled team to motivate and inspire KS1 and KS2 pupils
• Play an active role in the life and continued development of the school, contributing to an enhanced curriculum
• Support teaching and learning across the primary age range, adapting to the needs of individual pupils

Qualifications & Requirements

• Highly motivated, hardworking and committed to professional development
• Experience or willingness to teach across the primary age range (KS1 and KS2)
• Strong safeguarding awareness; all staff subject to enhanced DBS check
• Conviction may not exclude candidates but will be considered as part of recruitment
