Apprentice Water Operatives – Water Business Division

We are looking for Apprentice Water Operatives to join our Water business division. You will work with mobile site teams on water project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Excavate holes using safe digging methods to avoid damage to underground utility apparatus
• Move materials, plant and equipment
• Install pipes and fittings to appropriate standards ensuring good jointing and hygiene practices are followed
• Maintain site, vehicle, plant and equipment tidiness and security
• Carry out safety checks and inspections on vehicles, plant, equipment and sites and maintain safety, environmental and quality records

Pre-Employment Programme

We are working with Optimum Skills to deliver a pre-employment programme. Successful completion guarantees an interview.

• L1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment
• Entry Level Award in Construction Skills
• Ext Cert in Construction Skills
• CSCS Test & Card
• Abrasive Wheels (In House)
• Cable Avoidance & Generation (In House)
• Facefit (In House)
• Guaranteed interview with United Infrastructure
