Teaching Assistant Level 4 (Room Leader) 2 Year old Nursery

We are looking for a room leader who is humble, resilientand enthusiastic to join our 2-year-old provision staff team.

You will:

• Have a Level 3 qualification in teaching assistance or equivalent

• Have experience of working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, specifically with children aged two years old
• Be able to plan and deliver appropriate activities to meet the needs of the children in the two year old room
• Have experience of completing the ‘Progress Check’ for two year olds and other relevant assessments of development towards milestones
• Have experience of liaising with a range of professionals (e.g Health Visitors)

• Be passionate aboutworking with pupils in the early years
• Believe that educationis a vocation and be passionate about education in an urban setting
• Believe strongly thatall pupils regardless of their background are capable of reaching their fullpotential
• Be excited aboutlearning and achievement across a broad primary curriculum
• Embrace highexpectations of learning and behaviour
• Be committed toengaging pupils with teaching which produces accelerated pupil progress
• Possess an unswervingbelief in reflection, collaboration, teamwork and feedback
• Demonstrateoutstanding communication and people skills
