Class 1 Driver

Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Driver to support a range of clients across the Darlington area on a supply basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for flexible work, whether you’re seeking full-time hours or occasional shifts to suit your availability.

The Role for a Class 1 Driver:

• General haulage, trunking, and delivery work
• Day shifts, night shifts, and occasional weekend work available
• Minimal handball for most assignments, though some roles may involve light manual handling
• Working with a variety of reputable local and national clients
• Ensuring timely and professional deliveries while representing both Driver Hire and our customers

Requirements for a Class 1 Driver:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 12 months Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Good understanding of driver hours and WTD regulations
• Reliable, flexible, and professional attitude
• Strong customer service skills
