Salary: Main Pay Scale M1-U3

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Didcot from September 2026. This position is ideal for a Year 3 Teacher looking to begin the new academic year in a positive and collaborative school environment.

About the School

This well-regarded primary school is known for its inclusive ethos and strong sense of community. The successful Year 3 Teacher will teach a class of approximately 20 pupils, allowing the opportunity to provide focused support and build strong relationships as children transition into Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities

The appointed Year 3 Teacher will be responsible for delivering creative and engaging lessons while maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Duties include:

  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to support development
  • Supporting pupils’ confidence, wellbeing, and academic achievement
  • Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil success

Candidate Requirements

The ideal Year 3 Teacher will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A genuine passion for education and child development
