Secondary English Teacher HOD – Salary: £198 – £258 per day – Job Type: Long Term

Join Us as a Secondary English Teacher HOD in a Secondary School. We are recruiting an enthusiastic Head of English Teacher to join a school recognised for educational excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

  • The Secondary English Teacher HOD will work with a range of abilities and be comfortable catering to the broad needs of their students.
  • Skills in analysing prose, poetry, and plays.
  • Ability to prepare students for standardized English exams.
  • Enthusiastic, passionate, and willing to get involved in the school community.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Eligible for British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  • Proven classroom experience or training.
