THE ROLE
We are looking for a Linen Attendant to join our housekeeping team and play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and operational flow across the hotel. This position is essential in ensuring the smooth handling, distribution, and management of all hotel linen, supporting excellent guest experiences and efficient housekeeping operations.
- Operating and maintaining laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, steamers, and irons.
- Sorting, washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organising linen and towels according to hotel standards.
- Ensure that the linen and uniforms are neatly, systematically arranged, and organised manner.
- Keeping a record of all items that go in and out of the laundry.
- To assist with linen inventories.
- Ensure the guest laundry is properly maintained and all necessary procedures are followed.
- Reject linen/towels project.
- Should know basic tailoring works.
ABOUT YOU
- Ideally you would have previous hospitality experience with the ability to engage and connect with a wide range of guests from different backgrounds, ideally gained in a similar ‘Lifestyle’ boutique hotel, destination fine dining restaurant or cocktail lounge/bar
- An understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service and an eye for detail
