Guest Relations Host

Job Description Summary

The Guest Relation Host team is a client/hospitality service orientated function responsible for hospitality and events management, reception and visitor management, pantry management, meeting room management and client suite services.

Role Purpose

Guest Relation Hosts (GRHs) are Employee Experience Ambassadors committed to providing superior customer and employee experience and delivering 5‑star hotelier style service to customers, clients and employees.

What this job involves

Responsibilities are site–dependent and include the following functions:

• Meeting Room and Client Suite Management: professional greeting, cleaning, set‑up, equipment checks, booking management, catering coordination and inventory checks.
• Public: refill consumables, prepare visitor arrival list, encourage booking behaviour, provide utilisation reporting and visual checks.
• Hospitality and Events Management: set‑up and run down events, risk assessment, food and beverage service, vendor coordination, presence during events, internal event support and communications.
• Reception and Visitor Management: deliver 5‑star service, greetings, maintain cleanliness, provide building information, manage security processes, collect feedback, orientation tours and fire‑evacuation briefing.
• Other duties as required by site and service‑level agreements.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (written and oral)
• Passionate people person with exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Access)
• Minimum 3 years of prior hospitality/reception experience
• High attention to detail
• Flexible and proactive; comfortable in fast‑paced environment
• Strong problem‑solving skillsStrong team player who commits to support colleagues
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Exceptionally organised and skilled in multi‑tasking with outstanding time management
• High grooming standards
• Proven track record of achievement
