This is an exciting opportunity to become an Education Mentor within the Future 4 Me Team. We are looking for an individual that is highly motivated in working with vulnerable adolescents to support their education needs.
About the role
You will provide additional support to young people who need help to overcome barriers to learning, working with those young people to support improved attendance and addressing criminal behaviors that risk non‑engagement or exclusion from education, training or employment.
You will work closely with members of the Future 4 Me Team to:
- Develop 1:1 mentoring relationships with young people and seek opportunities around education, training and employment.
- Advocate for young people currently out of education, training and employment to secure their re‑engagement.
- Collaborate with Children Services colleagues and education providers to support attendance and attainment.
- Complete reports and participate in appropriate meetings for young people such as progress meetings, reviews, TAC and CIN meetings.
- Travel and work in a timely and flexible manner to undertake the duties of the role.

Fluency Duty
