Responsibilities

  • Support children and teachers with general classroom assistance.
  • Assist children across age groups from Foundation Phase to Key Stage 2.
  • Provide 1:1 support to children with additional learning needs.
  • Work with small groups of children and manage intervention work.
  • Adapt and work well with different age groups and school settings.

Ideal Candidate

  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, and eager to help in all areas and use initiative.
  • Good communication skills with children, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to build professional relationships in the school environment.
  • Team player who can bring new ideas and work well with staff.
  • Confident in providing 1:1 support to children with additional learning needs.

Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS (Child Only) check completed before commencing.
  • EWC registration – mandatory in Wales.
  • Experience working with children or as a Teaching Assistant is desirable.
