Job Vacancy: Activities Coordinator
Location: Princess Christian Care Home in Woking, Surrey GU21 2SJ
Contracted hours: 40 hours (9am – 5pm, one weekend to be worked every month)
Hourly rate: £13.50
As Activities Coordinator, you will be part of an exceptionally supportive team, providing outstanding physical, emotional, and social assistance to the people living at Princess Christian Care Home.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure residents are at the heart of care delivery, and their wishes and preferences are considered to enhance wellbeing.
- Organise and plan weekly activity programmes within allocated budget and produce a written rota; update activity boards around the home.
- Create risk assessments for activities and consent forms for families/residents.
- Produce newsletters to inform residents and their relatives/friends about activities; liaise with Marketing to prepare information for newsletters.
- Support residents to access the internet and other communication methods such as letter writing, Skype, and FaceTime.
- Maintain current skills and undertake training and development as required to progress knowledge.
