CAD Technician

Overview

Location: Leeds, LS25

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm

Salary: GBP 30,000 – GBP 35,000 per annum

Permanent office-based role

Commutable from Selby, York, Leeds, Castleford, Pontefract, Garforth, Wetherby or Tadcaster

About The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented CAD professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced project environment and can manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Interpret project specifications and translate them into detailed CAD drawings
• Work closely with technical, operations and project teams to meet project requirements
• Revise and update drawings in line with feedback and project changes
• Maintain organised digital drawing files and technical documentation
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and specifications
• Support continuous improvement of CAD processes and best practices

Requirements

• Proven experience using AutoCAD in a professional environment
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
