(7.5 t) Driver Temp to Perm role

Job Description

Dna Recruitment Solutions is a private owned recruitment agency based in Oldham.

We are looking for a class 7.5 t driver for our client based in Manchester Airport.

Working Hours

Working Monday to Friday 05:00 to 07:00 am starts, overtime and weekend available.

Responsibilities

• Drive an HGV 7.5t truck with curtains, help with loading and unloading when required.
• Pull curtains and secure the loads, all stock on pallets.
• Load/unload on the sites; occasionally use a pump truck.
• Ensure all paperwork is signed and cargo is checked.
• Report any delays or issues with collection/deliveries to the transport office.
• Check the truck before leaving and when you return.

Requirements

• 5 years of work/education history; willing to provide criminal record check.
• Minimum 6 months experience driving class 3 trucks and ability to use tachograph.
• Understand working time directives and can follow company process.

Benefits & Compensation

• Stable employment for the right candidate.
• £14 per hour x 50 hours (Basic £36,400).
• OT flat rate Mon-Fri £14, Weekends £18 per hour.
