Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Primary School – Brent

Contract: Full-Time Term-Time Only
Salary: £95-£110 per day
We are a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Brent seeking an ambitious and academically strong Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated support team from September 2026. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a graduate considering a future career in Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, SEN Teaching or Primary Teaching.
Qualifications
- Hold a 2:1 degree or above from a leading university
- Strong A-Level results and excellent GCSEs, including English and Maths
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- Be patient, proactive, and highly organised
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategies
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff
