We’re looking for a permanent Apprentice Skills Coach (Assessor) in Early Years. Join us on our journey to outstanding.
Responsibilities
- Deliver training, assess and quality assure work‑based learning programmes, in line with the college’s Apprenticeship Strategy.
- Work towards the growth of high quality, employer‑focused provision that maximises the opportunities for learners to achieve and progress into sustained employment.
- Show a genuine desire to improve the life chances of learners while acting as a strong, experienced team player with excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Substantial relevant occupational experience and experience of dealing with the training needs of learners through a range of methodologies.
- Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2.
- Assessor qualifications (A1, TAQA, D32).
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing.
- Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated.

Employment at Tameside College is subject to an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) Check via the Disclosure and Barring Service, and any post in regulated activity will also be subject to an additional barred list check. Tameside College will meet the costs associated with this.
