About the Role
As an Activities Coordinator you will plan and deliver stimulating and meaningful activities for residents, tailoring programmes to individual skills, hobbies and interests. The goal is to improve quality of life while respecting each resident’s privacy, dignity and independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Create a happy and caring atmosphere, putting residents’ needs first.
- Provide a wide range of physical, social, emotional and psychological activities tailored to individuals.
- Accompany residents to local community events such as the country fair.
- Lead chair‑exercise classes and other group activities.
- Engage residents in reminiscence sessions and arts & crafts projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- No previous experience required – full training provided.
- Enjoy leading and organising activities.
- Organised, sociable, active and enthusiastic about bringing people together.
- Flexible, hardworking and caring attitude.
- Desire to work as part of a dedicated team, showing care and compassion at all times.
