Dynamic Cover Supervisor – Lead Whole-Class Lessons

Cover Supervisor – We are seeking a reliable and motivated Cover Supervisor to deliver whole‑class teaching in the absence of regular teaching staff. The role involves supervising and supporting pupils’ learning, maintaining a positive and orderly classroom environment, and delivering pre‑planned lessons that meet the needs of all learners. The position also includes supporting pastoral needs, managing classroom resources, assisting with assessments and exams, and contributing to school trips and wider school activities. A flexible, proactive approach and a strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusion are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver whole‑class lessons and ensure planned curriculum is taught.
• Supervise pupils, promote good behaviour in line with school policy, and maintain classroom discipline.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and lesson effectiveness.
• Support pastoral needs and contribute to the wellbeing of all students.
• Manage classroom resources and assist with assessments and exam preparation.
• Participate in school trips and wider school activities as required.
