7.5 Tonne Flatbed Driver – Day Work Available

Driver Hire Blackburn is recruiting reliable and experienced 7.5 Tonne Flatbed Drivers for ongoing, full‑time work. This role involves multi‑drop deliveries using a flatbed vehicle, with approximately six drops per day and day shifts only.

If you are an experienced driver who is confident securing loads and looking for consistent local work with no nights out, this is a great opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering goods safely and efficiently using a 7.5 tonne flatbed vehicle
• Completing approximately six deliveries per shift
• Strapping and securing loads safely before transit
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and paperwork is accurate
• Providing professional and courteous customer service
• Following all road safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements

• Valid UK 7.5 Tonne (C1) Licence
• Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous flatbed driving experience preferred
• Experience strapping and securing loads safely
• Good understanding of drivers’ hours and road safety regulations
• Reliable, professional, and hardworking attitude
• Good communication and time‑keeping skills
