The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations
- Assist in creating seasonal menus
- Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Help manage ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
- Support control of food costs and kitchen budgets
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Supervise and support junior kitchen team members
- Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
- Experience in high-volume service preferred
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Good attention to detail and a passion for quality food
- Interested in seasonal, locally sourced ingredients
- Flexible with weekend working
