Class 2 Refuse Driver – Swadlincote

Join Gi Group to support the waste and refuse collection operation of a local authority.

Role Overview

• Drive class 2 refuse vehicles
• Lead a crew of loaders to complete collections on time
• Maintain company health & safety standards

Shift Patterns & Pay

• Shifts: Monday‑Friday (AM Starts)
• Pay: £16.81 per hour (rates include advanced holiday pay; PAYE option available)

Requirements

• Category C licence, valid DIGI and CPC cards
• 1 year of experience driving Class 2 vehicles (refuse driving experience desirable but not mandatory)
• Clean licence (max 6 points, subject to codes)
• Ability to work in a team and to meet deadlines
