First head chef role – Nottinghill – West London -4 days on 3 days off

Opportunity for a chef looking for a supportive and friendly environment in an intimate setting, in an exciting and growing food supper club/concept operation which has attracted excellent press reviews.
Friendly and dynamic expanding operation
Currently at two locations the operation is open Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays offering a bar/brunch/events and evening menu for up to 30 – 40 covers, the operation is also sometimes closed for private events
This role represents a great opportunity for a sous chef who is looking for their next step up as a head chef in a smaller quality environment.
Role
- Fully responsible for a brigade of 3 chefs
- training and motivation of your team
- Creative input
- Rota management
- Implementing health and safety, food hygiene practices
- Maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen at all times
Candidate Profile
Ability to commit to a role and demonstrate a steady work background
- Will have at least 2 years experience as a sous chef
- Will be able to remain calm and professional under pressure
- Will be from the local area or willing to travel
- Able to multis task with main supper club covers and events
- Must have comprehensive cooking skills and technical knowledge
- Must demonstrate a passion for good quality, fresh ingredients
- Excellent organisational skills
Salary & Benefits
Closed on Sundays /Mondays /Tuesday/ working hours- 45 – 48 hours ( candidate will need to attend a weekly meeting on one of this days)
