Life Skills SEN Teacher
Salary: £195 – £255 | Job Type: Long Term
Join us as a Life Skills SEN Teacher in an SEN School. A leading SEN school is seeking a Life Skills Teacher to support both Primary and Secondary students. The ideal candidate will be qualified (QTS or QTLS) and experienced in helping children develop essential daily living skills, particularly those with Autism, sensory needs, complex learning difficulties, and SEMH needs.
Responsibilities
- Proficiency in creating visual schedules and task analysis.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
- Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well‑being.
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Have or be eligible for British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Have proven classroom experience or training.
