Teaching Assistant (Fixed Term)

TheTrustees of the Kirkstead Education Trust at Hursthead Junior School areexcited to invite applications for a dedicated teaching assistant to support apupil with diverse academic and emotional needs on a one-on-one basis. Thesuccessful candidate will love working with children and have the skills andknowledge to support all children. You will demonstrate the ability to:

• Work effectively as part of a close-knit team toprovide comprehensive support for the student
• Work well with other staff andoutside agencies
• Provide one-on-one academic support and implementindividualised learning plans
• Be resilient in the face ofchallenges, taking direction from senior leaders and class teachers, aswell as working on your own initiative
• Behave in a positive, professionalmanner within a team environment, remaining calm and patient, even inchallenging situations
• Work within school policies andprocedures to keep children safe
