Compensation: £29,000 – £34,000 / year

Job Details

Salary: £29,000 per annum with the potential to progress up to £34,000 per annum. Company Bonus Scheme: £1,500 per annum based on performance and company performance. OTE earnings for year 1: £30,500.

Job Type: Full Time, permanent role

Experience: Musical experience is a requirement for this role, however, no teaching experience required.

Transport: UK/EU Driving Licence and own transport is an essential requirement. Travel Premium payments for longer journeys and Fuel Card included.

Holiday: 11+ weeks paid holiday a year

Location: Travelling role; providing cover centred on Bishop’s Stortford and surrounding counties, with possible ad hoc travel outside the region. Travel and accommodation expenses provided.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a consistent experience for our customers by providing cover and catch‑up lessons in Rocksteady schools throughout the year.
  • Assess the needs of children and schools, and deliver high‑quality lessons in a variety of situations.
  • Create and maintain ongoing positive relationships with schools requiring cover and catch‑up lessons.
  • Stay consistently on top of administrative duties outside of lessons.
  • Support new Band Leaders in your area when not providing cover and help maintain quality standards in the region.
  • Use the fuel card for all business mileage, as all mileage is considered business mileage.

Qualifications

  • Be competent on at least two of the following instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, vocals.
  • Be energized by travel and able to stay away from home as required.
  • Consistently and positively represent the brand in schools.
  • Be consistently organised with excellent administrative skills.
  • Be highly personable, approachable, and friendly.
  • Have a confident and concise communication style.
  • Have a positive and can‑do approach to work.
  • Be resilient and adaptable.
