SEND Teaching Assistant

The successful candidate will have the following attributes:

• GCSE English and Maths (grade 4 or above) orequivalent
• Experience of working asa Teaching Assistant
• Able to work effectivelyindependently and as part of a team
• Goodcommunication and organisation skills
• Caring and inclusiveattitude towards pupils, parents and staff
• Ahigh standard of literacy and numeracy
• ICT skills to manage the requirements of the postwith confidence
• Havegood practical skills and an attention to detail
• Arewilling to take part in training and personal development
• Be highly motivated to support children with EHCPs

The successful candidate will be required to deliver high quality support and interventions and, depending on experience, cover and lead class teaching as and when appropriate.
